Heavy Equipment Sales Representative
About the role
Responsible for managing the full equipment sales lifecycle—from initial customer engagement and opportunity development through quoting, order fulfillment, delivery, and post-sale support. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships while providing equipment solutions that support customer operations.

Partner with customers across the aggregates, mining, construction, recycling, and industrial markets to maximize production, improve efficiency, and reduce downtime. - Retail Equipment Sales
- Rental Equipment Systems / Full Plant Sales
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, aggregate producers, mine operators, recycling facilities, and industrial customers.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and jobsite visits.
- Evaluate customer applications and recommend equipment solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations, site evaluations, and customer presentations.
- Cook up opportunities for equipment, rentals, parts, service, rebuilds, and plant upgrades.
- Remain actively engaged after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Technical aptitude with heavy equipment and industrial equipment applications.
- Understanding of production environments and customer operations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in heavy equipment, construction, aggregates, mining, crushing and screening, material processing, or equipment rental preferred.
- Experience operating, maintaining, managing, or selling loaders, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, crushers, screen plants, conveyors, wash plants, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Capital equipment sales experience preferred but not required for candidates with strong industry experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites, quarries, mines, and industrial facilities.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and traverse uneven terrain.
Work Environment & Travel
- Primarily field-based with approximately 70-80% travel.
- Frequent visits to customer facilities, construction projects, quarries, mines, and production sites.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
