Essential Job Functions
- Operates and maintains heavy motorized equipment.
- Operates street sweeper and dump trucks.
- Completes route sheets and daily reports.
- Inspects equipment before use to ensure necessary repairs are made.
- Inspects job sites for possible hazards.
- Responds to customer inquiries and refers customer complaints to supervisor.
- Safeguards equipment maintenance; performs minor repairs as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid state Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM work schedule with overtime as required.
Additional Requirements
- Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post-offer/pre-employment medical screen.
- Verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
