Heavy Equipment Operator/Pipefitter

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator / Pipefitter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on work, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in precision and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and trenchers
• Install, repair, and maintain underground piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
• Perform trenching, grading, and backfilling operations
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator and/or pipefitter
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required)
• OSHA safety training a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
