About the Role

This position serves as a member of the flow-to-work log yard team, operating various pieces of log handling equipment, participating in cleanup activities, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working in a log yard and/or operating log handling equipment
• Knowledge of log sorts, putting logs in and out of storage decks, unloading and loading log trucks
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) as a condition of employment

• Rates of pay start at $33.78 with the potential of reaching $36.09 per hour after proven competency in accordance with the labor agreement

• Compensation: Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site.
