Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

BrandSafway is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team in Hastings, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner in accordance with company and site safety policies
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to: Front-end loader, Road grader
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations around personnel, structures, and utilities
• Follow job site plans and directions from supervisors and site management
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification required
• Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
