Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

Bayshore Construction Company is a multi-faceted company with the ability to provide our clients services on their projects from demo up to framing. We specialize in demolition, excavation, utility work, concrete foundation, structural slabs and architectural concrete. We perform Residential, Commercial and Public Works Projects in the Puget Sound Area, including Pierce, King, Snohomish and Island Counties. Bayshore Construction Company is dedicated to ensuring our customers’ projects are built exactly as envisioned, budgeted and planned for.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of equipment for building demolition, clearing, foundation excavation, loading truck, installing utilities, and grading.
• Establish grades and slopes from a benchmark using a laser.
• Load trucks to weight depending on soil type and condition.
• Knowledge of shoring and trench safety.
• Install side sewers, drainage, and water utilities.
• Basic understanding of blueprints.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
