HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR-ARTESIA - STARTING PAY: $24.95 - $27.54 PER HOUR DOE

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader to maintain and establish road profiles.
• Maintain various base materials using a variety of equipment.
• Utilize hand operated tools in the performance of tasks.
• Ensure all employees at the worksite are performing their assigned tasks.
• Work irregular hours and attend job-related meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Must comply with safety guidelines of the County.
• Pass a new-hire physical and drug screen.
• Must not have used illegal drugs within the past 3 years.
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

• Equal authority to direct work schedule from Carlsbad, Artesia, and Sandpoint Managers.
