About the role
Looking for steady work with a company that values safety, teamwork, and making a real environmental impact? McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Morrisville, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Grinders, Screeners, and other heavy equipment
- Load trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
- Perform blending and material processing operations
- Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment checks
- Identify and report equipment issues requiring maintenance
- Support production goals while maintaining product quality standards
- Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs
- Maintain a productive and efficient workflow
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience operating Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to the Morrisville, PA facility
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on uneven terrain
- Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, odors, and moving machinery
- Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when required

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed
