The Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in transforming organic waste into high-quality compost, mulch, and soil products that support healthier communities and a cleaner environment. You'll safely operate heavy equipment to move, process, blend, screen, and transport materials while maintaining production, safety, and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Operate Hyundai HL960A and Hyundai HL970A Wheel Loaders, Front-End Loaders, Small Excavators, Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Backhoes, Grinders, Screeners, and other heavy equipment
• Load trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
• Perform blending and material processing operations
• Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment checks
• Identify and report equipment issues requiring maintenance
• Support production goals while maintaining product quality standards
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs
• Maintain a productive and efficient workflow

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Experience operating Hyundai HL960A and Hyundai HL970A Wheel Loaders, Front-End Loaders, Small Excavators, Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Backhoes, or similar heavy equipment in industrial, construction, recycling, composting, landscaping, agricultural, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to the Morrisville, PA facility
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Dependable attendance and work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on uneven terrain
• Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, odors, and moving machinery
• Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when required
