About the role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in transforming organic waste into high-quality compost, mulch, and soil products that support healthier communities and a cleaner environment. You'll safely operate heavy equipment to move, process, blend, screen, and transport materials while maintaining production, safety, and quality standards. This is hands-on work for someone who takes pride in operating equipment efficiently, working safely, and contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Grinders, Screeners, and other heavy equipment
• Load trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
• Perform blending and material processing operations
• Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment checks
• Identify and report equipment issues requiring maintenance
• Support production goals while maintaining product quality standards
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs
• Maintain a productive and efficient workflow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience operating Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, or similar heavy equipment
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to the Morrisville, PA facility
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Dependable attendance and work ethic
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on uneven terrain
• Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, odors, and moving machinery
• Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when required

Pay

$24.00/hr. starting pay with Daily Pay Option available.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays, overtime, and schedule adjustments may be required to meet business needs.
