About the role
A full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit eligible Instructor position for the Heavy Equipment Operations & Management Program.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in heavy equipment operations and management.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Use Trimble GPS grade control and data collection systems for various tasks.
- Manage and rotate laser levels for grade and elevation control.
- Utilize drones for site planning and possess a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in the heavy equipment operations industry.
- Excellent communications, computer, and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
- A bachelor's degree or willingness to earn one.
- Prior teaching/training experience in a hands-on or vocational setting.
- Five or more years of related work experience in site survey.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License.
