About the role

We are partnering with an established manufacturer and service provider in Santa Fe Springs that is looking to add a skilled mechanic to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment while working in a clean, well-equipped shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements
  • Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems
  • Work on equipment such as: Excavators, Backhoes, Forklifts, Bulldozers, and Other heavy construction equipment
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • 1-5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
  • Strong experience working on heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, etc.)
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with: Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems, Pneumatic systems, Diesel engines
  • Experience performing repairs beyond routine maintenance
  • Stable work history
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)

Pay

$30-$34/hour (based on experience)
