Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)

Primary Responsibilities
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Track machine service intervals
- Order parts
- Diagnose issues using real-time data
- Determine root cause and corrective actions quickly
- Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation
- Aid in training lower-level technicians
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
- Stay updated on OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance (when required)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend
- Clean-shaven for certain customer sites (when required)
