Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the training of new employees and provide guidance on equipment operation and safety.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss equipment performance and maintenance needs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with troubleshooting issues related to equipment usage.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and telehandlers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Experience in working in outdoor environments, including exposure to weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel as needed to different locations within the company's service area.
