Heavy Equipment Field Technician

About the role

As a Field Technician, you will work on heavy trucks, heavy trenching, directional drills, and other heavy equipment at customer locations to ensure their equipment runs in peak form and maximizes uptime. Travel the area in a fully loaded service vehicle, perform top-notch repairs, interact with customers, and deliver reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the field.
• Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and communication.
• Operate with self-motivation and minimal supervision.
• Travel 75% or more of the time to customer locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• 2+ years of electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Pay

$33–50/hour, depending on experience.
