Key Responsibilities
- Utilize diagnostic software for engine and transmission issues.
- Perform intricate repairs on engines (e.g., injectors, cylinder heads, bearings) and transmissions (e.g., sensors, solenoids).
- Perform repairs on hydraulic systems, including advanced hydraulic formulas and calculations.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repair on electrical systems and electronic-controlled hydraulic components.
- Understand and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Master the operation and theory of various equipment, including blenders and hydration units.
- Troubleshoot and repair greaser systems and their electronics.
- Perform root cause failure analysis.
- Weld and fabricate proficiently.
- Provide leadership and training to less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in the Oil & Gas Industry with advanced skills in industrial engine and transmission repair.
- Skills: Advanced tool set, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Prolonged standing and walking; ability to lift and move over 50 pounds.
- Flexibility: Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
- Availability: Capable of working overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
Work Environment
- Rotation: Work between shop and field environments.
- Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather conditions, exposure to noise, contaminants, dust, etc.
Travel Requirements
- Travel: Possibility of out-of-state assignments
