Responsibilities
Technicians diagnose truck problems and perform repairs, create repair plans, and submit parts requisitions. They tag warranty parts, return core-value parts, communicate updates to their Foreman daily, and maintain organized toolboxes and clean, safe workstations.
Responsibilities & Skills Assessment
- Apprentice Technician:
- Perform oil changes
- Perform brake inspections and work on brakes
- Perform general maintenance of the service department (sweeping, cleaning, and other tasks as needed)
- D-Level Technician:
- Basic chassis repairs
- Basic engine repairs
- Chassis Remove & Install
- Perform preventative and/or maintenance
- Competent in internal/factory warranty processes
- C-Level Technician:
- Basic diagnostic skills
- Comfortable with major vendor/factory
- Perform most chassis repairs
- Perform engine accessory repairs
- Complete engine Remove & Install
- B-Level Technician:
- Advanced diagnostics skills
- Complete engine repairs
- Complex chassis repairs
- Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
- HVAC repairs
- A-Level Technician:
- Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
- Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures
- Competent in root cause failure analysis
- Vibration analysis
- Aftertreatment repairs and diagnostics

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
Pay
$21–$50 per hour depending on experience level and certifications, plus production bonus.
