Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician

About the role

American Truck Centers is seeking a Full-Time Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician. This position offers a competitive hourly wage range of $25.00 to $50.00 (DOE), along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a health savings account.

Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance and inspection on all vehicles and equipment. - Diagnose and repair larger scale issues. - Handle some building/facility maintenance tasks. - Assist drivers in the yard with pretrip or start-up issues. - Ensure all trucks leaving the shop are in top condition post-repair.

Requirements

- Must be at least 21 years old. - 4+ years of experience. - Basic computer skills. - CDL preferred but not required. - Knowledgeable in DOT inspections and pre/post-trip requirements. - Shop experience preferred. - Journeyman-level technician with Paccar engine knowledge. - Experience with emission after-treatment systems. - Electrical diagnostics and repair knowledge. - HVAC certification or equivalent experience.
