Heavy Duty Diagnostic Diesel Tech

Hiring bonus up to $6,500.00. First shift: Wednesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with all aspects of light and medium duty chassis, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and electrical systems
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Diagnose cause of non-conformance and identify corrective action necessary to correct non-conformance
• Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring
• Use computer diagnostics
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience required
• Preferred – Diesel or Automotive Program Certificate or degree
• Experience with some or all of the following engine platforms: Detroit, Cummins, Paccar, Isuzu, Hino, Mack, Volvo, Power Stroke, Duramax, LS, Triton, and Godzilla
• ASE Certifications a plus
• State Inspector License a plus
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (e.g., DUI/DWI)
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• CDL a plus
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Must be able to read and write reports

Pay

Up to $48.00 per hour, depending upon experience.

Schedule

First shift: Wednesday through Saturday.
