About the role

Bring your mechanical expertise and experience to a winning and industry-leading team at Ohio CAT. As a Service Technician, you will work in the shop performing diagnostics, routine to complex repairs, and rebuilds on various types of Caterpillar heavy equipment and their components.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on Caterpillar heavy equipment and components
• Execute routine and complex repairs on Caterpillar equipment
• Rebuild various types of Caterpillar heavy equipment and components

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
• Skilled in using Caterpillar diagnostic tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical repair experience with diesel/earthmoving equipment

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/Carrying: 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50 lb. Pulling
• Standing, Sitting, and Climbing: Frequently up and down stairs, and into machines
• Dexterity: Normal
• Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers
• Noise Level: Usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
