Heavy Construction Equipment Road Service Technician

About the role

Best Line Equipment is seeking an experienced heavy equipment Road Service Technician to join the team at our State College, PA facility. Our Road Service Technicians provide mobile service to West Chester and surrounding counties and are supplied cell phones, laptops, vehicles, fuel, and other items necessary to perform duties independently off location.

Road technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment. Some on-call responsibilities may apply.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 40-50 hours per week
• 1 Saturday a month

Requirements

• At least two years' experience in comparable markets (troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
• Strong electrical and mechanical abilities
• Beneficial experience: DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets
• Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals, and warranty claims
• A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience

Pay

Estimated annual compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent upon experience and certifications)
