St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital welcomes Heather Currier Hunt as senior vice president for the St. Jude Leadership Academy (SJLA).

About the role

Currier Hunt will focus on creating a best-in-class training environment to support the institution’s growing workforce and global impact.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a comprehensive leadership development program
• Develop and lead a team focused on enhancing the SJLA curriculum and delivery
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness of SJLA initiatives
• Support the growth and development of St. Jude’s workforce through tailored training programs
• Ensure that SJLA graduates embody curiosity, collaboration, and drive to deliver impactful results

Requirements

• Proven experience in leadership development and talent management
• Experience in creating and implementing training programs
• Strong understanding of organizational culture and its impact on employee development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience
• Experience in healthcare or related fields preferred
