As a Newborn Hearing Technician, you’ll support families during a special moment in their lives while ensuring each infant receives high‑quality, accurate hearing screening. Position Details What You’ll Do Conduct newborn hearing screening evaluations using established protocolsGather essential case history and patient informationCommunicate clearly and compassionately with families and healthcare professionalsDeliver excellent customer service with empathy, patience, and professionalismCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care team membersUphold Mercy’s mission, values, and standards in every interaction What You’ll Bring Minimum Requirements Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent college creditExperience: Prior patient care experience preferredAble to communicate effectively with patients’ families and healthcare professionalsComfortable interacting with the public and committed to providing exceptional customer service Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree (healthcare-related fields preferred)Experience: Previous hearing testing experienceStrong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Why Mercy?
