About the role
The Healthy Families: Family Support and Engagement Specialist is responsible for providing support and engagement services to families in need. This role involves collaborating with community partners to enhance family well-being.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement family support programs.
- Provide direct services to families, including counseling and guidance.
- Conduct outreach activities to identify and serve eligible families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with families to ensure ongoing support.
- Participate in regular meetings with supervisors and team members to discuss progress and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in family support or social work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of family dynamics and child development.
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay
