About the role

The Healthy Families: Family Support and Engagement Specialist is responsible for providing support and engagement services to families in need. This role involves collaborating with community partners to enhance family well-being.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with community partners to develop and implement family support programs.
• Provide direct services to families, including counseling and guidance.
• Conduct outreach activities to identify and serve eligible families.
• Develop and maintain relationships with families to ensure ongoing support.
• Participate in regular meetings with supervisors and team members to discuss progress and challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in family support or social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of family dynamics and child development.
• Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
