About the role

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Healthcare Associate to join its Corporate, M&A, and Securities practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare regulation and transactional law, advising a diverse client base that includes healthcare providers, investors, and strategic acquirers.

What You’ll Do

  • Advise clients on healthcare-focused M&A and private equity transactions
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex healthcare regulatory frameworks, including fraud and abuse laws and reimbursement considerations
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of healthcare and commercial agreements, including physician employment agreements, management services agreements (MSAs), and vendor contracts
  • Support due diligence efforts with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk assessment
  • Work closely with clients to navigate evolving healthcare laws and transactional structures
  • Collaborate across practice groups on multidisciplinary matters

What They’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience handling healthcare transactions within a law firm or corporate legal environment
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory regimes, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and corporate practice of medicine doctrines
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and healthcare-specific agreements (preferred)
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong academic credentials and professional judgment
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
  • J.D. required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
