Healthcare Tax Manager
Job Description
Withum’s Tax Services Group is comprised of tax specialists who ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and minimize or defer tax payments. They provide comprehensive tax strategies across international, US federal, state, and local regulations, including Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, and International and Private Client services. As a Healthcare Tax Manager, you will coordinate with the healthcare services group tax team on reviewing and filing annual tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S. You will also work on tax consulting special projects, attend industry-related webinars and presentations, assist clients with daily tax needs, support audit and consulting teams, and contribute to staff development and the firm’s healthcare niche practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
- At least 5 years of prior experience in a public accounting tax department, including leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
- Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
- Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Strong management, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities to represent the firm effectively to client management
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and attention to detail skills
Qualifications
- JD or Masters of Science in Taxation
Benefits
The compensation for this position varies by location. For California, Chicago, New Jersey, and New York City, the ranges are as follows:
- California: $135,000 - $210,000 annually
- Chicago: $125,000 - $160,000 annually
- New Jersey: $105,000 - $190,000 annually
- New York City: $110,000 - $180,000 annually
