Healthcare Tax Manager
Job Description
Withum’s Tax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, counting our affiliation with HLB international, allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Coordinating as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms; 1040, 1065; 1120; 1120-S
- Working on various tax consulting special projects
- Attending professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry
- Working on day to day tax assistance to our healthcare industry clients
- Supporting and coordinating with our healthcare group’s audit and consulting teams
- Contributing to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm’s healthcare niche practice
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
- At least 5 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
- Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail

Ranges from $135,000 - $210,000 annually
Chicago
Ranges from $125,000 - $160,000 annually
New Jersey
Ranges from $105,000 - $190,000 annually
New York City
Ranges from $110,000 - $180,000 annually
Qualifications
