Healthcare Tax Manager

Job Description

Withum’s Tax Services Group is comprised of tax specialists who ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and minimize or defer tax payments. They provide comprehensive tax strategies across international, US federal, state, and local regulations, including Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, and International and Private Client services.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

• Coordinating as part of the healthcare services group tax team on the review and filing of annual tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S
• Working on various tax consulting special projects
• Attending professional tax webinars and presentations to the healthcare industry
• Supporting and coordinating with our healthcare group’s audit and consulting teams
• Contributing to the continued development of staff and the growth of the firm’s healthcare niche practice

The kinds of people we want to talk to

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
• At least 5 years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail

Pay

• California: $135,000 - $210,000 annually
• Chicago: $125,000 - $160,000 annually
• New Jersey: $105,000 - $190,000 annually
• New York City: $110,000 - $180,000 annually
