Healthcare Sales Specialist

About the role

The Healthcare Sales Specialist sells medical gases, products, and services to healthcare and life science establishments within a specific geographic area, serving as a subject matter expert to internal and external customers. The position is based in Cincinnati, OH and Moraine, OH retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes regional company‑specific medical and specialty gas marketing plans and supports the Region.
• Increases sales and profit margins by presenting medical product lines and specialty gases to new prospects and existing customers, explaining and demonstrating products to provide solutions tailored to customer segment needs.
• Develops and implements customer‑specific marketing plans by studying product type and volume used by customers/prospects according to industry or trade factors.
• Prepares sales proposals and contracts by quoting pricing, credit terms, and estimated delivery dates based on knowledge of Airgas production and delivery schedules.
• Acts as a resource for other Airgas sales professionals by providing product and industry training, making customer presentations and recommendations to develop and maintain medical sales.
