About the Role
Tennessee Oncology, one of the nation’s largest community-based cancer care specialists, is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter to deliver full life-cycle recruiting. As the public face of the organization, you will ensure a positive candidate experience from initial application to final on-boarding while aligning with our mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct full life-cycle recruitment efforts.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to identify expectations and clarify processes.
- Source candidates through online job boards, social media, networking, advertising, email blasts, referrals, and internal transfers/promotions.
- Identify internal and external candidates for vacant positions.
- Move candidates through the interviewing process, including phone screens, feedback recording in HCM, scheduling interviews, and follow-up communications.
- Negotiate pay and other compensation terms with hiring managers and candidates.
- Provide a high-level candidate experience by responding to questions professionally and timely.
- Build and maintain business partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders through routine meetings, strategy discussions, and weekly updates.
- Manage the requisition process in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring compliance with company policy and federal/state legislation.
- Build and develop relationships with industry contacts to gain referrals and leads.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the recruitment process.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, talent acquisition tools, and share best practices with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Build a talent pipeline by continuously sourcing and recruiting candidates for current and future needs.
- Attend networking events such as career fairs, professional conferences, and college visits to source new talent.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to process talent management transactions and resolve issues.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Talent Development Managers for new hire orientation, training, and system process support.
- Ensure all phases of recruitment and selection comply with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
- One (1) year of recruiting experience or six (6) months of healthcare recruitment experience required.
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and company policy/procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage and report on data.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and establish rapport with hiring managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting applications.
