Job Summary

A home health recruiter's job is to source, screen, and hire qualified healthcare professionals, like nurses and aides, to work in home health settings. Key responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, conducting interviews, verifying credentials, negotiating job offers, and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and clients to meet staffing needs.

Essential Functions

  • Use various methods to find and attract a pool of qualified candidates. This includes reviewing resumes, performing initial screenings, and conducting interviews to assess skills and fit.
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process, negotiate salaries and terms of employment, and handle necessary background and reference checks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential hires and active clients to identify staffing needs and ensure the best matches are made.
  • Manage recruitment data using applicant-tracking software, schedule interviews, and answer candidate questions about job roles and company policies.
