Healthcare Project Architect

About the Role

An experienced architect specializing in healthcare projects, responsible for leading design, documentation, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with clients, providing status updates and participating in scoping walks.
• Lead project design through all phases, ensuring adherence to client needs, regulations, and standards.
• Oversee technical drawings, quality control, and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and public entities.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and presentations.
• Attend site visits, surveys, and inspections as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• At least 8 years of architectural experience, with a focus on healthcare projects.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication, client relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Experience across all project phases, including planning, design, documentation, bidding, and construction administration.
• Ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of healthcare building codes and standards; medical planning experience is a plus.
