Healthcare Project Architect

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications
- Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables
- Follow instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions
- Perform architectural assignments with direction but without immediate supervision and with limited design responsibility
- Recommend and select procedures
- Write reports and specifications covering architectural matters
- Take responsibility for phases of individual revenue-producing projects as needed
- Perform Construction Administration phases of healthcare projects
- Collaborate with healthcare clients in development, planning, and design departments
- Demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related tools, including participation in Revit-based project delivery
- Utilize Newforma and Bluebeam for PDF collaboration sessions
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- Registered Architect
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
- Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture
- Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, preferably in the industry and local Columbus market
- Proven experience and successful project delivery with local and regional healthcare systems (OH)
- Knowledgeable of technical architectural aspects of complex small, medium, or routine large projects
- Project experience in Revit, Newforma, and Bluebeam

Pay
Columbus: $75,880 - $108,400 (depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location).
Schedule
Full-time, regular employee status.
