Healthcare Leadership Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop competency-based leadership curricula for Administrators and Directors of Nursing.
  • Deliver workshops, lead cohort programs, and provide 1:1 or group coaching to leaders.
  • Map programs to organizational leadership competencies and healthcare industry standards.
  • Partner on culture initiatives, engagement strategies, and change readiness efforts.
  • Measure program effectiveness; track outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Manage HCA content, virtual learning tools, and digital learning assets.
  • Work with clinical leaders, HR business partners, and executives to identify development needs.
  • Lead end-toend development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse License, Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership development, training, organizational development, or clinical education.
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (preferred).
  • Experience designing and facilitating adult learning programs.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical environments, and regulatory considerations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across multiple facilities.
  • Travel between sites (for multifacility systems).
