Business Development Specialist

About the role

ServiceMaster Services is looking for a self-motivated, results-driven professional to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you'll play a vital role in expanding our market in the South Puget Sound region by building relationships, generating new business, and ensuring excellent service for existing clients. Position located in Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Create and present proposals to potential clients.
• Foster relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth service.
• Keep track of opportunities and sales in CRM system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college or degree preferred)
• Experience in business development or client relations (janitorial or commercial cleaning industry preferred)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM system
• A self‑starter with strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

Pay

$65,000 per year plus commissions (overall compensation range $65,000 – $100,000 per year)
