About the role

Salesfolks has been retained to recruit multiple Healthcare Inside Sales Representatives for an established pharmaceutical and medical-supply distributor in Rockville, Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a broad portfolio of pharmaceutical and medical-supply products to sell to healthcare organizations.
  • Prospect for new customers by phone, email, and other approved channels.
  • Contact healthcare buyers, pharmacy personnel, procurement professionals, and other decision-makers.
  • Manage and grow relationships with current customers.
  • Re-engage inactive or past customers when appropriate.
  • Learn customer purchasing patterns, product needs, and sourcing challenges.
  • Present relevant pharmaceutical and medical-supply solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and sales opportunities.
  • Convert customer inquiries and conversations into completed business.
  • Develop repeat purchasing relationships.
  • Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and activity information in the company’s CRM.
  • Work with internal sourcing, pricing, customer service, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally.
  • Meet established sales, activity, and revenue expectations.
  • Stay organized and maintain disciplined follow-up across multiple accounts and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous sales, business development, account management, or closely related experience.
  • Experience prospecting and developing customer relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Effective negotiation and follow-up skills.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, email, and business software.
  • The ability to work full-time from the Rockville office.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000–$75,000, depending on relevant experience, demonstrated sales ability, and overall role alignment. The position also includes commission compensation. A representative performing at expected levels may have the opportunity to earn approximately $90,000–$120,000 in total annual compensation. Actual earnings will depend on individual sales performance, customer development, account growth, and the terms of the employer’s commission plan.

Schedule

This is an onsite position based in Rockville, Maryland. Candidates should be able to commute to the office reliably on a daily basis.
