Responsibilities

  • Partner with supported Dentists to gain a financial commitment from the patient to start the best course of treatment with urgency.
  • Utilize financial options to support case acceptance and educate patients on treatment choices.
  • Overcome common patient objections and keep Dentist's schedules productive.
  • Support each patient in a consultative and educational manner while creating a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and Patients for Life (PFL).
  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices.
  • Achie proficiency in PDS system and tools to assist patients in making the best possible decision for their unique wants and needs.
  • Execute the HC Handoff in partnership with each clinician on every exam patient.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on all available financial options to give patients choices that fit their budget.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients who need this prior to completing treatment.
  • Ensure the office exemplifies the Comprehensive Care Model within the office and referrals outside the office.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Build the financial understanding of team members, staff, and clinicians, and understand local market drivers and competition.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; address others professionally and respectfully.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as state, federal, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Handle and maintain extreme confidentiality of patient records.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and maintain high-quality work.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Volunteer in your local community during paid time off.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
  • Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
  • Results-oriented, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, and influencer
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
