Healthcare Coordinator

Fresno Modern Dentistry is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize financial options to support case acceptance
• Education patients on treatment choices
• Overcome common patient objections
• Proactively keep Dentist's schedules productive
• Support each patient in a consultative and educational manner
• Create a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and Patients for Life (PFL)
• Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices
• Achieve proficiency in PDS system and tools
• Execute the HC Handoff in partnership with each clinician
• Be a Subject Matter Expert on all available financial options
• Oversee necessary insurance pre-authorizations for patients
• Maintain an exemplifying Comprehensive Care Model within the office and referrals
• Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
• Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand and support clinical excellence
• Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
• Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances
• Results-oriented, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, and influencer
• Ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and confidentiality handling
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

$20.75 - $29.00 / Hourly
