This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact healthcare consulting engagements focused on revenue cycle performance. You will help hospitals and health systems improve financial outcomes while strengthening operational efficiency and patient-facing processes. The position combines project leadership, data-driven performance improvement, and revenue cycle expertise. You will manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives while guiding junior team members and building strong client relationships. The role provides exposure to strategic challenges across billing, coding, collections, denials, and patient access. You will work in a collaborative consulting environment where communication, mentorship, and measurable client results are highly valued.
This is a remote position with travel varying according to client and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue cycle best practices that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and optimize billing, coding, collections, denials management, and related revenue cycle processes to reduce revenue leakage.
- Lead complex, multi-workstream consulting projects, including project planning, workplan management, execution, and delivery.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and support organizational change initiatives.
- Partner closely with clients and internal teams to align project outcomes with strategic and business objectives.
- Communicate project progress, findings, recommendations, and priorities effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop junior team members through ongoing supervision, feedback, and mentorship.
