Healthcare Business Process Management (BPM) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Discover and analyze existing current-state business processes.
• Define and design future-state processes and end-to-end workflows.
• Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop recommendations for process optimization and standardization.
• Facilitate process discovery and improvement sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate across departments to understand business requirements and operational dependencies.
• Support enterprise-level process mapping and process transformation initiatives.
• Independently manage assigned process analysis activities with minimal guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Process Consultant, Business Architect, or similar role.
• Strong experience in Enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) and process improvement.
• Prominent experience with Process Discovery, Definition, Documentation, and Improvement.
• Strong experience designing cross-functional and end-to-end business processes.
• Healthcare Insurance experience is mandatory. Understanding of healthcare insurance operations, including: Claims, Enrollment, Provider Operations, Care Management, Utilization Management (UM).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently facilitate discussions with business and functional teams.
