Assistant Counsel provides legal support across an integrated healthcare system, partnering with clinical, operations, and administrative leaders to translate complex laws into clear, practical guidance. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.Advise on regulatory, compliance, and related legal requirements.Support risk management activities by identifying legal risks and recommending mitigations.Assist with employment-related matters, including workplace issues and related legal guidance.Provide legal support for patient-care and healthcare services issues.Contribute to policy development and help strengthen governance and compliance frameworks. Qualifications & Skills J.D. or equivalent legal qualification and strong legal research and writing skills.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance principles.Ability to interpret complex legal requirements and deliver actionable guidance.Sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective risk awareness.Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
