About the role

As a Biotech Investment Analyst, you will evaluate commercial drugs and drug-development programs, providing critical assessments and creating rubrics to guide investment decisions. Your work will directly impact the strategic direction of biotech investments.

Responsibilities

• Create and critique rubrics that analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
• Provide overall company and asset assessment including mechanism, clinical data, competitive position, and value drivers.
• Judge the quality of an investment-style thesis and flag weak, overconfident, or missing assumptions.
• Apply assessments across the pilot's set of companies.

Requirements

• Strong relevant experience in the domain of biotech/healthcare investment analysis.
• Familiarity with biotech/pharma development programs.
• Ability to assess a drug asset and the company behind it end-to-end.
• Experience evaluating biotech/pharma companies or assets.

Skills

• Strong analytical approach to reviewing and improving professional content.
• High level of consistency when assessing technical and transactional accuracy.
• Comfortable managing deliverables with minimal supervision.
