Health & Wellness Manager

About the role

The Health and Wellness Manager oversees the daily operations of the health program, including assessment, treatment, emergency care, and case management for students.

Responsibilities

• Manage health services such as chronic, acute, oral, and mental health care; medication management; wellness programs; emergency response; infection control; immunizations; disability services; and education on health topics.
• Supervise staff, conduct assessments, facilitate staff training, ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Prepare and review health documentation, participate in student health evaluations, lead wellness initiatives, and support program quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, maintain records, manage supplies, and support student and staff health needs.
• Participate in committees, develop health plans, and handle complex cases including medical separations and chronic care management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Preferred experience of three years including supervisory roles.
• Strong nursing skills, communication abilities, and knowledge of youth health needs essential.
• CPR certification must be maintained.

Schedule

Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
