Description
The NICU at St. Luke’s is one of the largest units in the hospital, serving infants requiring medical or surgical care immediately after birth. Infants may have conditions ranging from extreme prematurity to difficulties transitioning to extra-uterine life. The NICU is a Level 4 facility, treating infants needing gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal surgeries or treatments. It also serves as a transport referral site and receives patients from across the region. The NICU provides 24/7 Neonatology coverage with an in-house neonatologist and nurse practitioner.
Requirements
- Full Time Opening Available
- Scheduled Days will be variable depending on unit needs
- Shift differential pay offered (Nights and Weekends)
- Perform various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services
- Earn up to $25,000 in scholarships to pursue nursing education

- Prior Healthcare Experience: Example - CNA, Medical Assistant, and/or Current Enrollment in Nursing/Medical School
