Responsibilities
- Assist in keeping medical charts in order
- Answer telephone services receptionist at nursing station
- Set-up resident physician appointments, coordinate transportation & prepare necessary paperwork
- Keep accurate records of all resident lab work
- Resident chart filing
- Prepare for physician visits, dental & podiatry visits including notifications & record paperwork
- Transcribe physician notes into electronic medical records
- Answers to Director of Medical Records
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Previous Experience as a HUC Health Unit Coordinator preferred
