About the role

The Health Unit Coordinator, Fetal Center Care will be responsible for coordinating care for high-risk pregnancies and fetal health issues. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate prenatal care and follow-up appointments for high-risk pregnancies.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate care for patients.
  • Manage patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, public health).
  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare coordination or related field.
  • Knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Current certification in CPR.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
