About the role
This position is responsible for coordinating health unit operations for adolescent inpatients.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations within the adolescent inpatient unit, ensuring patient care standards are met. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Provide emotional support to patients and families as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare coordination or related field
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with adolescents and their families
- Knowledge of adolescent development and mental health issues
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
