Health Strategy Manager

The Health Strategy Manager role at Accenture is designed for a seasoned strategist with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. This role involves advising clients on data-driven strategies to transform their business operations or business models, ensuring they achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. The ideal candidate will lead teams to deliver high-quality business strategy solutions, build strong relationships with senior leaders, and contribute to the company’s reputation as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

• Run delivery of projects to understand clients' current position in healthcare strategy and identify business options within global, economic, technological, and social trends.
• Head up teams to deliver world-class business strategy solutions tailored to clients' needs in healthcare strategy.
• Earn the trust of senior leaders and collaborate with them to develop strategic solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.
• Lead project delivery to ensure clients are prepared for long-term success with practical roadmaps for strategy implementation, change management, process monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on quantitative analysis and research to generate recommendations and insights driving desired outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to reinforce Accenture’s standing as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
• Create content and engage in professional forums to establish Accenture as a thought leader in healthcare strategy.
• Mentor junior members of the Strategy team and prepare them for increased responsibilities.
• Focus areas include cost transformation, performance improvement, innovative business and operating models, mergers and acquisitions, digital health, and product strategy.
• Travel as needed, up to 80%

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience at a large strategy or health boutique consulting firm
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Healthcare Provider and/or Payer Industry in areas such as corporate development, transformation, or internal strategy, including Health Innovation / Disruption, Health Strategy and Growth, Health Transformation

Bonus points

• An MBA or equivalent graduate degree
• Publications or thought leadership materials
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx
• Experience with Blockchain, AI, Cloud, Machine Learning
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Pay

Compensation at Accenture varies based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The annual salary range for this role is $87,400 to $253,000.

Schedule

Full-time position with occasional travel up to 80%.
