Health Services Director in Training Program
About the Role
Marquis Companies is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Community Based Health Services Director (HSD) In-Training program. This paid, full-time position includes training on all shifts to learn the day-to-day clinical health services and RN delegations within community-based care at one of our Assisted Living facilities in the Portland Metro Area.
Upon completion of training, you will transition into a full-time RN Health Services Director position within Marquis Companies as opportunities arise. The program is designed to ensure you feel confident in your role, understanding the Marquis standard and expectations before stepping into the facility as the administrator responsible for the safety and security of residents and team members.
Responsibilities
- Delegate nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts.
- Communicate regularly with residents, their families, and their health care practitioners.
- Collaborate with assigned staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities within the facility.
- Participate in the implementation of the resident care planning process to comply with resident needs and regulatory agency requirements.
- Perform assessments on the health, functional, and psychosocial status of each resident.
- Direct the delivery of in-services and staff development programs that meet nursing objectives and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure the department is adequately staffed to provide quality care by participating in the recruitment and selection of personnel.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate state.
- Experience as a nursing supervisor is preferred.
- Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and/or Home Health Nursing experience is strongly desired.
