About the role

The Health Services Coordinator at MBK Senior Living supports the overall operations of the department through various administrative and clinical functions. This role involves conducting assessments, drafting and updating service plans, and performing tasks such as medication delivery and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and coordinate assessments and evaluations of potential residents and make recommendations for admission.
  • Draft and update individualized Service Plans as needed.
  • Review service plans with responsible parties and the Executive Director as requested.
  • Preserve dignity and promote independence for residents while providing care and services according to their service plans.
  • Provide training and education on essential topics like medication delivery, treatments, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Perform all assigned duties accurately and timely, including required documentation.
  • Aid in the community marketing effort through positive interactions and liaising with families and outside health service providers.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Support a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.

Requirements

  • RN, LVN, or LPN License that is active and in good standing.
  • 2+ years of prior related work experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Must complete required background clearances, health screenings, and provide negative TB test results.
  • Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Competent and current technical and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, and read English.
  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions and remain calm during stressful or emergency situations.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, and guests.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, pulling, reaching overhead, and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds.
  • Ability to assist in the physical movement of residents during routine transfers or in emergency situations.

Pay

$33.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-Time, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
